Big Bother: Initial Design

Today I drew out two panels of my Big Bother book and I'm not too sure what I think about them at the moment to be honest. I decided to use watercolour as used to love using the medium, but didn't get the exact results that I desired. The colours came off as too soft and the work looked like there wasn't much skill involved, my lifework also felt quite uninspired. I do want to keep using watercolours though or a similar product - perhaps indian inks? This is something I'll have to look into.

Moving beyond the medium, I have to say I'm quite happy with how I'm getting the look of the politicians down at the moment. Farage is a deranged lunatic that I feel I have conveyed well with his boss eyes and explosive anger (and the hint of UKIP purple for skin). Clegg meanwhile appears to be crying (and will be in every page his on) as he is upset at having to stand up for things. Finally, Cameron has a pink pig like skin, has no eyebrows and a shiny balding head, reminiscent of Steve Bells condom-headed Cameron. I initially had some trouble with how to draw Cameron but I feel I understand his features now.

Meanwhile on the other page I've drawn, Ed Miliband and done my best to give him an utterly bland and boring face. It's my intention in this page for Big Bother to be unresponsive to him as he's so utterly boring.
